Our greatest weakness lies in giving up and throwing in the towel. It looks so much easier and painless to say ‘I give up.” or “me caah bother” but Lets try to put ourselves in the frame of mind that Jesus was in when he was sent here to die for our sins. He could have ran away and disobeyed our heavenly father but where would that have put him? He would have been thrown in the same pile with sinners and would have to face the same fate as them. Instead of bowing to his fears, he did as Daddy above commanded. He carried out God’s instructions down to the ‘t’ and now he sits at the right hand of God.
It is normal for us to be afraid because it is in our nature. Like Noah, most of us try to hide from God and we all know that that did not work out well for poor Noah. We make it a habit to cry before we attempt to try,try to evade situations and problems, keep hawking on ‘there is no way out or it is too great for them to bare.’ We are expected to be obedient and to do as his word commands us to do. If God can perform such wonderful miracles then can’t he pull us out of anything? There is no problem too big for God to handle. Trust in his words and believe in him.
The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. Bear in mind that God’s plans for your life far exceed the circumstances of your day. Allow him to have his way with you and you will see that the problems that seem like a mountain is just a mole.
